    RE: Quiz Time.

yes, it’s nowhere near full scale. It is a mockup, should have made that clearer… instead of saying it’s composed of.

    RE: What will be left?

    [updated:LAST EDITED ON 13-10-02 AT 05:50 PM (GMT)]Confused? we ain’t even started yet…

China Airlines isn’t Chinese. It’s Taiwanese. Or from the non-Communist China, if you prefer.

As in, not from the People’s Rebublic of China (generally known as China, although it’s communist), but from the Island off the PR China, which lays claim to all of China, ie Taiwan. Confused yet?

    RE: Quiz Time.

    haven’t the foggiest…

except for the LHR fire rig.

It’s composed of a 747 front cabin (to simulate evacuation of the upper deck should a 747 require evacuation), and the rear of a DC-10, (to simulate engine fire on rear engine mounted a/c).

ZRH fire rig, I’ve probably been past it a fair few times (I’ve been through ZRH on about a dozen trips)… but can’t for the life of me remember what it is…

sitting in that seat over the wing’s bloody noisy, though… I’ve sat in what must be the row (well, seat) behind that one on a crossair flight from BRU to BSL a couple of years ago.

can’t see it… EI are in oneworld, and BD are in Star…

I think EI are more likely to be involved with BA, with whom they already do comprehensive codesharing…

still not really keen on the lime green…

and however much I love the 757-200, the -300 just looks out of proportion…

But -200’s I could look at all day (only if they’ve RB211’s though… the PW ones just don’t do it for me…)

    RE: Flightdeck PA’s

Of course, if you’re going to announce local time upon arrival, it helps to get it right…

I was on the lunchtime BA shuttle from Glasgow to Heathrow in March, and upon arrival, the captain announced that local time was 9:15am…
