And finally, the other local ‘national’ carrier had to get a flight in somewhere… Air France (operated by Régional) F100, F-GIOG on the CDG shuttle.
And another landing, Farnair Europe ATR42-300 HB-AFF. First time I’ve seen an ATR.
after those two landings, the Global Express set out along 16. Still can’t confirm that reggie, though. 🙁
Next to come in for a landing was Swiss ERJ-145, HB-JAU.
The Afternoon flight from LHR touches down on 16, operated by Swiss A319, HB-IPU.
This is the one that really intrigues me… I *think* the reg was N705NW, but I can’t seem to adjust the brightness on the photo so as to be able to check it…
Anyway, obviously, it’s a Bombardier Global Express, still taxiing to 16 here, presumably just having received it’s interior at Jet Aviation.
Team Lufthansa (opperated by Cimber Air) F50 D-AFFX was operating the early evening flight to MUC, seen here still taxiing to 16.
Turkish Airlines 737-800, TC-JGD was operating the scheduled thrice weekly flight to Istanbul.
Iberworld A320 EC-INZ was also heding out from 16.
TunisAir 737-600 TS-IOM was next up, heding off to Monastir. This is it still taxiing to 16.
Spanair MD-83 EC-FZC on a charter flight to Athens (yeah, swiss airport, greek destination, spanish airline, me standing on french soil… European integration has gone to far… ;))
I went down to BSL after the football (no, we won’t talk about it…), and got a fair few snaps, including Swiss A319 HB-IPU coming in from LHR… anyone spot it taking off about 2pm?
Incidentally, while I’m at it, does anyone know anything about a Global Express I saw taking off this afternoon, I think the registration was N705NW, but that looks like a Northwest reg to me? anyone know the number? Presumably it was at Jet Aviation having it’s interior fitted.
Approaches to 34 at BSL go pretty much right overhead, and those takeoffs from 16 that head right after liftoff (pretty much all outgoing flights from 16 get moved at least a bit to the right as otherwise they’d be going straight over the city centre.
34 is only really used for landings in the evenings, though, so most of what I see is climbing stuff, which is already pretty high by the time it gets this far out. (Except the infamous KAL 744F, but they try and put that on 34 whenever possible, to avoid the city)
Do I recall hearing something about The Bill and Seville?
Caledonian operated the Tristars before being merged into JMC/TCX… maybe wys was going back a couple of years?
