A. looks like a posh one,the sort of fish cake Rick Stein would serve up.
B. looks more like the one served at my local chippy.Bits of left-over fish,squished up with mashed potato,inside a crispy crumb coating.

Film 4 are again repeating Hero aka Ying xiong.

It’s a Chinese subtitled film, but worth watching for the epic cinematography alone.

Oh yes!,one of Jet Li’s better films.The cinematography is cracking,but it also has a great soundtrack too.I got my 2 disc,DTS:ES copy from Korea (Region 3).

LFIS was 300,ordered from Korea.This 2 disc set comes in a very nice metal container.
It’s an adaptation of a graphic novel/comic.It’s a cracking story full of passion and brutality and is based on fact,but is not an historical documentary.It’s a tale of bravery in the face of impossible odds,and of free men standing up to a tyrant.
I really enjoyed this film and will deffo slap this into the player again soon.

Just got an e-mail telling me that my local Picturehouse is showing a pre-view of Transformers this week-end.As Chris Evans used to say “Can’t wait,won’t wait”,so I phoned to book a ticket for Sunday.To my surprise,because I am a member,I am going to see it for free…nix….nada….not a bean 😀 .

My basic working week consists of 4 nights per week(Monday to Thursday) and get 25 days paid holiday which works out to be 6 weeks and 1 day,PLUS all Bank Holidays 😀 .

The arrivel of flugelhorn player Gloria ( the lovely Tara Fitzgerald ) gives them hope
Pity it dissolves into an grimy anti-Thatcher tract with grumpy old Pete Postlethwaite as the band leader

Sat in my usual seat at the Odeon,Leicester Square,I enjoyed the latest episode of Harry Potter…..the Order of the Phoenix.Pure digital picture and sound….very nice:D
As a Harry Potter fan,having read all the books,I was not disappointed.Nor was the rest of the audience because there were at least seven rounds of applause during the film.
If you’ve been following Harry’s journey,via book or film,you’re gonna love it.
If this is your first dip into Harry Potter,stay at home and watch the telly.
