Have you seen Screamers with Peter Weller?

Just taken it out of the player.Once I saw that the Johnny Walker label was red and NOT black,I knew this was a financially strapped film;) .
This really is an enjoyable,low grade,sci-fi film.Some of the SFX are a bit iffy but it was made 10 years ago and they don’t realy distract you from the story.
The main theme is “who can you trust?”,but I have one question…..Why are they so scared of rats compared to screamers:confused: .
There is a great quote that I have to include,just for all you Blade Runner fans out there (and you know who you are;) )……….
“I learned something to.I learned to love”
This is a great pick-up for around a fiver on region 2:D .

On DVD The Return (Vozvrashcheniye).
A Russian film telling the story of a twelve year absentee father taking his 2 sons on a fishing trip.Please read the reviews on IMDB and catch this film as soon as you can.It is a gem:D .

About a writer of Haunted Hotel books,he was told not to stay in room 1408.
He does ,strange things happen involving his dead daughter and estranged wife.
Hs a good twist at the end.
Not the best film I have seen but worth a look 7/10

Another one of my foreign films,this sinister Spanish thriller tells a story of 2 shocking crimes,1 horrific mistake and a choice between justice or vengeance.

Watched Gabriel yesterday.It’s a very enjoyable low-budget sci-fi from Australia but don’t let that put you off.This has joined my list of favorite independent sci-fi films alongside Cube,The Thirteenth Floor and,of course,Dark City.
