A few films today, starting with:

Toy Story

It’s been over TEN YEARS since this came out, and although computer-animated films have come a long way since then in terms of animation, Toy Story is still a damn fine watch despite its now dated look.

Toy Story 3 is now in pre-production and it’s gonna be shown in 3D.TS1 and 2 are gonna be put through the computer and turned into 3D as well.:D

Another BAFTA award nominee The Diving Bell And The Butterfly.An original story very well told.
And on the telly,The Odd Couple,Lemmon and Matthau in top comedic form.

Sweeney Todd:The Demon Barbor Of Fleet Street.The magnificent duo which is Burton and Depp pull it off yet again.Who would have thought that a musical horror (and there’s blood all over the place) would be a crowd pleaser.I caught a pre-view tonight and the place was packed.And before you ask,YES!,Johnny Depp can sing.He sounds a bit like David Bowie on an off day,which is still good.Depp and Helena Bonham Carter work very well together,as do Alan Rickman (always great when he’s playing a baddie) and Tim Spall as his slimey side-kick.

You missed one out Steve.An early cowboys-for-the-kids (circa 1960)….Four Feather Falls.Tex Tucker and his magic guns and,if memory serves me right,a talking horse.

On DVD……Away From Her.
At the pictures…..No Country For Old Men.

You Only Live Twice.Sean Connery saves the world from WW3 by playing around with Little Nellie and space rockets.

Re.I Am Legend

Yeah, I saw this today, too. Quite enjoyed it. How they manage to “empty” New York City is pretty incredible, given that it’s the city that never sleeps and all.

Good way to spend a couple of hours, though.

Probably the same way they shut down the center of London in 28 Days Later:cool: .
Oops……forgot to mention the 2 seat Hunter in the closing scenes:o .

I’d see it, if they cared enough to professionally film it…
