ahh.. yes.. I know alot about seperation cases since November… how to make a man bankrupt .. in one fall swoop.. 🙁
I got port side gun panel, , tank jettison lever and box, and flaps/UC lever and box from a T11 , , any use to anyone ?
I could swap if wanted, ..
oh and Hindenburg, .. will have to arrange a meet up, so i can give you those stirling bits when i can 😉
oh, and i forgot to add, a Merlin engine Brass/Copper Oil cooler if anyones interested for swaps, its complete, but battered at one end.
This has been on ebay before.
Shame he’s not including the engine or the seats – rather limits the prospective buyers I would have thought.

I wish I had that sort of money.. if you think about it , its not a bad price, its a whole airframe, I mean how much would all that lot sell for broken up, sticks, panels, instruments, U/c legs, wings canopy , fuselage etc etc .. sure it must tally up to near the amount he is asking, shame there is no seats and engine though … if i could sell my lambretta fast enough, and be able to put it with the piston provost, I would love to have gone for it, still, this cant be, so hopefully she will find a good home, bet she would look nice in her 1960s colours 😀
A de Havilland Heron, G-ANXB languished in the blast pens at Biggin Hill for several years until Newark Air Museum rescued it in 1981.
More interesting was the recovery of spares for the said airframe from St Lucia!! 😀
Glad they saved the Heron, thats one classy old lady worth sprucing up 😉
Hmm,
theres me flight sim then 😀 … LOL.. i love the early40s, 50s, 60s types, the days of seeing them rotting on a airfield are long gone ..
I wonder how many others are out there that are “un-economical for repair, and due to being sat undisturbed for many a year have now severe corrosion problems ??
G-Info ,,. hmm sounds like a interesting site, i will look it up 🙂
here she is G-BSTV .. and a good year… 1967 ..
