RE: Strikes At UK Airports This Summer?

I’m flying with Air 2000 who are handled by Aviance which is unlucky.

Thanks for that Keltic. Its nice to hear about a different Spanish airport.Normally when I think of airports in Spain its Madrid,Barcelona,Malaga, for example. How busy is SCQ in terms of Spanish airports?

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 22-07-02 AT 07:23 AM (GMT)]ZB is Monarch Crown service and MON just Monarch charter (I think). Its the same with Air 2000 who use DP for their schedule flights and AMM for charters.

I remember reading the Cubana scedule from last year.According to the schedule they operated SCQ-HAV with an IL62.Are they the airline who operate charters in to SCQ from Havana still?

    RE: New Look For BE

I’m not sure about swapping aircraft in GCI,sorry I can’t be of much help with that. The inter island flights are operated only by Aurigny, however,BE do fly inter island on flights like yours,JER-GCI-EXT and JER-GCI-BHX and in the winter JER-GCI-LGW.There is no problem with these flights because the passengers are staying on the aircraft to go to other destinations in the UK so this is not going in to competition with Aurigny.Any passenger wanting to fly GCI-JER or JER-GCI have to go stand by due to competition laws, which is a big thing over here, only on a few routes are airlines allowed to compete.

I’m not entirely sure about this one.I know that you are probably are on a Dash 8-200 but I can’t be sure about the aircraft change. Are you on the Saturday 08.20 departure from Jersey to Exeter?

RE: How many airlines do this?

I don’t know of many airlines which do that, but on all delayed Virgin flights you do recieve an apology letter. When my flight to Barbados was delayed 4 hours we recieved a letter saying how sorry they were, they also offered us a 10% discount on our next Virgin flight.
