I’ve flown both and generally like Airbus too, But as many will know I have an affection for the 757. I’ve flown on a 757 four times and twice on an A321. I think the A321 flights were a bit more pleasant mainly because they were scheduled with all the perks and had PTV’s.

I was also aware of the A321 seeming to have a bit more clout thrust wise as we took off. All in all it’s hard to pick a favourite, but probably the 757 as it’s the first modern era, glass cockpit type jet I’ve witnessed.

The last build model I made was a 1/72 scale Boing B-17. I took ages making it looking good, painting up loads of fiddly interior bits to make it look more professional. I was dead proud of it once I’d finished it and decided to hang it from the ceiling (for old times sake).

After five minutes it fell off and is now in a million pieces in a plastic bag. It was the most detailed crash site I’ve ever made ! 😀 The only kit model I have now is this Lufthansa DC-3, 1/48th scale. It used to be in KLM colours when I first built it around 8 years ago.

Purists will note the badly positioned tail decals and paint detal. It was before I had web access and didn’t have a livery plan to refer to.

Never was any good with helicopters. 😀
