I’m not convinced that link is working even though it’s the exact URL. If you can’t call it up, e-mail me your address and I’ll e-mail you the page from my bookmarks.

Ignore that last reply, it’s a link for Canadian WorldWays, unless they are the same airline mind you ?

How are the TC logos applied/removed during these loan spells ? Are they actually painted on in the first place and then painted over ? Are they removable transfers like the ones that you sometimes see applied on commercial road vehicles ?

What about somewhere within easy reach of a budget airline destination? Come up to Glasgow even, I’ll show you the sites!!!

Nice T5, is that a line art filter you’re using ? My Casablanca video suite does a similar thing for moving pictures. I did a title sequence for an RAF Leuchars airshow video with it…

What You See Is What You Get… apparently ? There’s a folk group in Scotland using the same name.

Wow ! some of you guys must never be on the ground for very long!

To my earlier wish list, I’d like to add the VC-10, Caravelle, DC-8 and 707. Does anyone know what type would have made the Glasgow to Isle of Man flight for BIA in the early 70’s ? Only asking because I was on one as a baby, knowone in the family has a clue what plane it was.

I do indeed work at QMD Bhoy, trust me it’s easier this way (LOL) I might have a better chance of reanimating dead tissue than mounting a succesful raid on the BBC’s dark and dusty vaults.

That said I’ve already received a reply to my plea and am looking forward to a copy winging it’s way to me.

    RE: B of B DVD?

The Battle of Britain is re-released today (3/12/02) on VHS according to release schedules I’ve had access to where I work at the BBC. I’m hoping I’m wrong though and it is in fact coming out on DVD.

Well last night’s 1st programme was very good. Lot’s of nice retro footage and interviews with Beardmore’s of Inchinnan and Weir’s,of Cathcart. Didn’t know the first East/West trans-atlantic flight was by a Scotsman either! Jim Mollinson, Amy Johnson’s husband.

Unfortunately my “shiny new DVD recorder” made a dog’s ar*se of the recording and suffered a ‘disc error’ ! Anyone got a tape they could lend me ?

(lol) nor Bob the Builder, or Bob Dylan, just released on DVD !

I take it we’re after the 1969 movie starring Michael Caine and Trever Howard to name but a few?

Are they based at Belfast Aldergrove ? I’ve seen one there each time I’ve used the airport. Am I just confusing Belfast Airport with Heavylift’s Belfast planes ?
