The last 747 shot is brilliant, gives a good sense of scale!

The aircraft in question appeared to have red and blue on the tail. Is this a leased in ac do we think?

You’re allowed electrical items in cabin baggage now aren’t you? I imagine this will include cameras.

Another LBA, Thomas Cook are basing a 757-200 at NCL this winter. There are two 757-200 at Newcastle this summer.

Jet2 operated a F100 last year – my parents flew to Palma on it. They are also introducing a 146 for the MAN – LGW route!

That will have been the all white MD-80.

Was at LBA this morning to see the AEU 757, looked great. Taxied out to 14 and lined up at 8.10but then taxied back to the gate and didn’t take off till 9.10. Don’t know what was wrong. Did any one get the reg on the Finnair? Thanks.

I’m sure this won’t be true as passenger figures have always been reasonable out of LBA. If this is the case then will this mean another Astraeus aircraft at LBA. Hope so!!

There is talk on Taxiway Alpha Forums of a GSM route to DLM, and I could see a Jet 2 flight there too

Jet 2 did originally express in serving LBA DLM in the future just after purchasing their 757’s but it won’t be for a few years yet.

Jet 2 have only two 757’s but Jet 2 are set to get more of the type and one would only assume that this would be in time for the start of the summer schedule as the plan is to also base the a/c at MAN.
