well, i would assume engine runs are going to be done shortly. can’t wait to hear that griffon growl again.

See the guy with the resident stearman has been out and about over the last couple of days.

Also interesting to note that the bbmf will bringing one of their spits on august 9th. i will be there for sure!!!! For those of you who don’t know its a little airfield to the south of hornchurch and to the east of rainham where i live.

Did Kennet take over the restoration of this seafire? when i last saw a pic of it it looked near completion but without the engine.

i’m assuming it has been sold to mr beesley and will be going stateside after a certain summer show at duxford?

If so, knowing the way the guys operate, it makes room for another aircraft, so it sin’t alll bad.
