any sign of a container at duxford yet?
Does anyone know who the new owner is, and what other gems to do you think they may acquire?
Its a shame the Lysander isn’t at legends, but i’m sure there will be one or two other gems to look forward to!
So what happenened to the Sabena old timers lizzie from belgium? is that under restoration as well as the one with arco?
Any update on the arco example?
i know the usual answer is when its done its done, but i would guess the project is porbably still a couple of years until its completed?
I’m sure it will be worth the wait!!!
The 22 is being worked on by the back room guys, Henry, Ian and other volunteers with Freddo (Mr. Spitfire) keeping an oversight whilst finishing off the XVIII with Mike.
The P-47G fuselage is due back in April so that will take precedent over the 22 for the time being. With the Gladiator nearing completion the Sea Fury will come to the top again.
Work continues on the Beaufighter with the possibility of the cockpit being fitted shortly. The hunt still goes on for original engines and a second propeller, can you help?
Are the wings from the p47 back from down under yet?
The spit is looking very sexy indeed!! can’t wait to see it back it belongs.
i have often seen it at shows as a static, but do they not fly it anymore?
KIGAS – What sort, if any progress has been made on the big pair of Bristols? Good to hear that lots is going on behind the scenes.

damn shame but i’m surprised it stayed that long!
erm………probably a typo. maybe no guts no glory has displayed there in years gone by and they just put p47 down as an example. But who knows?

PL344 is currently having the final touches carried out to its wing gun-bay fuel system and re-activation of its UK registration G-IXCC. It is at present undergoing this work in the ARC hangar which is not open to the public. Once all the things come together it will be carrying out test flying to prove the correct functioning of the fuel system. It may be out and about by the time of your visit or it may not. However with the departure of the owners MkVc JG891 to the USA he is intending to keep PL344 resident at Duxford for the season at least. It should certainly be seen around during the summer, hope this answers your question.
Is mr blair intending to keep half his fleet over at DX once the hangar at Kissimee is fully functional or will all of them return to the US? Be nice if he wanted to bring his P38 over….:diablo:
