wow an airworthy il 2. A fair few years i think! So the tempest is almost there then!

The only problem i’ve ever had with flying legends was the old guy who was sitting next to me who had a touch of wind last year. And i thought i was bad. Thats the last time i sit downwind next to him.

the p40b has been under rebuild for a while so i would imagine let there is only enough hangar room for as many planes as they have at the moment

I know its a bit early to start talking about another restoration as you have a good 2 years to go on this project fluffy, but will you and the bbmf guys be looking at another project after this one is complete? i’m sure that i read in one of the mags that the bbmf were looking to acquire another spit of a mark that isn’t represented yet once this project is finished.

Anyway loving the scheme, and well done thus far, its really starting to look the ********!

i see they are sticking with the ‘jumpin jacques’ scheme, and not going for the red tails look. hopefully get a chance to see this plane at some point this year.

Anybody know what other projects Hawker restorations are working on.:confused:
