Brian – you are such a naughty boy starting rumours like that!!

Such a shame to see SNAFU go, but I’m sure there will be 1 or 2 additions, including the Cr 42 and the sea fury T20 that went to Oz to name but 2.

Night Fighter scheme on the Blenehim? It’s looking good!

Looks like a black and white underside to me?

OK, so 3pm is the time for a hog-roast, an ice-cream, the toilet, a drink, another look at Spitfire Survivors 2, a suncream uplift, a sleep, clean the camera, change a battery and getting ready for a pair of big Bristols… fnar fnar:highly_amused:

It also appears on G-INFO that TFC’s Sea Fury T.20 has a permit to fly!

Thought it would need its prop on to do that….

Interesting he chose not to shut the engine down straight away. Lets hope all is well and we see this bird again soon.

I remember a few years ago the Arco spit tr9 had a gear collapse I think in holland, and the arco team ferried over a new prop and made the aircraft ferriable and returned the aircraft in pretty quick time. Would the engine require a full strip down, or could it be checked over without the need to pull it all apart? I assume that is the safer option.

Damn shame as this would look the part parked on the ramp with the recently restored bbmf hurricane.

And writing posts on an iPhone – bloody nightmare!!

    Great detective work!!!

Looks like a full strip down and new prop I would imagine.

No he isn’t, it only feels like he’s been here for ever. Gerry Mead, if I spelt that wrong I’m very sorry. He knew when to talk, to keep quiet, he was well liked and knew his stuff. I’m sorry but this bloke is just irritating beyond belief. Just my humble opinion, and lots of others too!!!

His discription of SNAFU was slightly inappropriate…..

I personally don’t really pay much attention to him, and to be fair he does shut up occasionally to appreciate the mighty sound of a merlin.

    Traffic was an utter disgrace!!

Gave up and turned around at 15.30 after 5 and a 1/2 hours queuing.

    Shambles.

Hopefully (I´ll keep all my fingers crossed) those airworthy planes (wherever they go) will be kept airworthy and flown. It would be a shame if they were to be locked away in a hangar not to see the sun anymore.

    Michael

    Pretty sure most will be!!

I wonder if any will end up over here? Damn shame the mossie appears to have gone. What about the me109s and fiat 55 at Meier motors??? Will they still be completed? And all the stuff down in oz??

I love the way the fighter collection eek out only snippets at a time!!

In summary – horsemen will fly spits (1s and 1a we assume?)
    Manhattan dolls return
    Vintage village
2 gladiators – something we have all waited for!!

Much simpler. Get me a job in PR.
