The first prototype of M1 Sokol OK-ZHA (S/N 101) was produced in 1945 and registered in Czechoslovak civil registry in 1946. This plane was owned by firm Mraz to 1948, used for presentation worldwide, rebuilt to M1A version and after it transfered to aeroclub Brno. From Czechoslovak civil registry was OK-ZHA withdrawn in 1955 and probably scapped. Other two M1 Sokols from the first production year (OK-ZHB and ZHC, S/N 102 and 103) were damaged by accidents in 1950 and 1946.

There are no flying La-7s. There are probably only two survivors, one is Kozedub’s La-7 in Moscow and the second is in Prague museum Kbely. Don’t forget, that La-7 is wooden plane. Most of them ended with end of war or were changed by La-9 and 11 with full-metal structure. A few planes serving in Czechoslovak Air Force after WW2 were in very bad condition and were canceled soon. Creaking Door saw the last flyable La-9 in Duxford, not La-7.

Thanks for your opinions, yes I know, that some European states had some Tutors, yes I know, that Luftwaffe used some captured trainers for pilot schools or like mock ups. I know that for example some Italian planes were in pilot schools during WW2 in Czechoslovak territory, but never heard about Tutor here. I hoped somebody should know something about this serial number and its history.
