It’s been a while. Still no updates? The website hasn’t been updated for a while either.

Try Eastern at Humberside. They have the prototype dismantled up there. It was a development aircraft so it MAY have a non-standard overhead panel that is of little use to them.
Everetts haven’t got 31’s only Scottish Aviation T.1’s.

Good news about the jetstream. Anyone know where I can view it’s history? I believe it was an avionics development aircraft?
Jetstreams preserved, now it’s time for a 748!!!!!!!!!!!!!

List of airframes is very outdated but travel details are correct. There will be no police there, just be polite and let the golfers through.
Alternatively, the Vulcan is visible from the A523 at Adlington little chef, A trip to the driving range on the industrial estate also gets you closer.

A sad end to the efforts of many retired ex-workers. I feel for them. To take it from a falklands spares source to static runner with VERY limited time and resources outside is a superb achievement.
I presume the cockpit will be stripped of all instruments etc to assist in other projects?
The a/c is visible from side roads around Wfd for those who want to catch its last moments.

strip it, scrap it and spend the money on more deserving Lightnings. Buy the one on ebay at Doncaster, it’ll cost less in the long run.
Support the LPG’s efforts etc.

That Firefly in the arrivals part is absolutely stunning.

What an absolute shame. I can’t help but think people scramble around trying to buy a corroded wreck that was a certain v-bomber but when there’s a decent airframe like this available a lot cheaper, nothing happens.IMHO, of course. Tin hat on.
