Anyone fancy the trip friday? I need someone with a big, bright torch to come along!! 🙂
Shouldn’t be a problem!! 😉
So it is looking like a trip to Sandbach with my torch and digital camera this weekend! – assuming i can arrange it with yard owner of course. Anyone care to join me!?
If it’s on Friday, count me in, big match Saturday…. 😉
I can’t help having this terrible sense of foreboding if she does fly again.
Of what?
Anyway, back on topic and if first flight is sometime around August/September this year, i’d like to see her at Southport. 🙂
I don’t think you can go any lower than that IMHO…. 😀 😮 :diablo:
To add to Melv’s wise words, I presume you all realise the purchase price is a tiny part of the costs involved in this project? Transport alone will prove at least as expensive, then there’s finding the parts needed to complete it, storage, cradle, tools, etc. etc.
You ain’t kiddin!!! 😉 I think the main aim has to be to stop the rot once she is wherever she may end up. Anyone else wish to volunteer for the cause?
Plenty of hard work for us all there. I would love to get my hands dirty!! 😉

I wonder how recent the pictures on the ebay ad are? I would imagine that these were taken before she was smashed up as her hatch was open during her destruction. If we get anywhere, should we go for a viewing of it if that’s possible?
?
I’d LOVE to help! Jon H, you on Merseyside?
Lets have a bet! Paddy Power will give 3-1 that this thread will turn into yet another “it’ll never fly” or “it’s a waste of money” or “scrap the parrafin burner” or “I hate Vulcans, the HLF should have given the money to afghan hill farmers” type of thread? What d’ya reckon? Worth a punt at 3-1? :diablo:
Well said that man!!! 😉
I haven’t had handbags with Kev for a while either…. :diablo:
Does anyone fancy another Forum project? I’d be interested…
