Looks VERY similar to the set-up at Aspen, Colorado….VERY similar…

Good looking B-25, hope you guys have fun with it, as I’m sure you will…i can see why the neighbors would complain about the noise, those Wrights would echo off the hills like heck!

I would lobby for Martin Caidin’s ‘Everything but the Flak’ to be made into a book…and featuring ‘Fuddy Duddy’…again…

Oh, but I loved the tag line..”Hammer Down!!”…what the hell was THAT all about? Why do directors feel the need to add such fluff to movies like that? Probably hoping that every kid who sees the movie will run around screaming that tagline….free promotion for the flick…

Love the fact Jean Reno is in this movie, always did like him, especially his shady character/French patriot in ‘Godzilla’….the other guy I’m not familiar with…

We need a flying Macchi 202 or 205, the Italian Messerschmitt, basically…very nice looking planes, very comparable performance to a Mustang or Spitfire, very nice looking and I’m assuming it would be a BIG hit on the airshow circuit of whatever country it flew in….someone call Herb Tischler or the guys at Paine Field in Seattle and get them on this…

Would this be a good place to mention that according to the WIX forums the B-17 ‘Chuckie’, which was thought to be stagnant and unflown for the last couple of years, is up and flying again and headed for Michigan and later the CAF show at Midland in October and possibly even Wings over Houston?

    Thought it might be…

It’s the naysayers that folks like those working on the Vulcan use as their inspiration when they say “We heard it was impossible from so many people, that we just HAD to prove them wrong….”

I for one offer full encouragement…I hope to god she flies again…

Are we talking FLYING British aircraft or just aircraft in general? Pretty large order either way, even minus Spits and Hurricanes….LOTS of ’em out there..

As I mentioned in a thread before this came up, Tom Friedkin’s F6F has been repainted in FAA colors, and Friedkin usually brings SOMETHING to the Duxford scene each July, does’nt he? COULD it be his Hellcat, replete with British markings, in time to be assembled and test flown and maybe even attend a few shows before the BIG DAYS in July at Legends?

    If so….it would certainly be….AT LEGENDS….
