    Olivier-

if I recall, it was a CLOSE call…turns out that anything anyone thought of on that planet, happened….I could think of a LOT of things that I’d like to have happen to me on a fantasy planet…getting strafed by a Hellcat isn’t among them, getting mauled by Elizabeth Hurley IS…

In one of the original episodes of Star Trek, they Trekkers beam down to a planet similar to Paradise but they wind up getting strafed on the ground by an F6F Hellcat!

Hmmm…might have to catch that one…

Likewise, on next week’s episode of ‘The Batchelor’, in the previews it looked like the batchelor and one of his girls go out on a date in the nose of a B-25…only got a quick look at it, but the two of them were laughing in the nose of what LOOKED like a B-25 (plenty of framing all around them, twin engines)….might wanna take a look next wednesday also and see if we can ID the plane…

‘Sky Captain’, as I wrote two weeks ago, is just a fun FLUFF movie with no historical precedence to adhere to (loosely based, Jude Law’s character flew with the Flying Tigers…first time I’ve heard of a Brit with the Tigers)…other than that it’s all fun with a beefed up CGI P-40 that has ‘Batman’ style contraptions on it, and it’s a great ride…you see it, you will enjoy it.

I have removed my message from this thread because SOMEONE on here passed it on to someone else that I wish they had’nt…..I will not comment on this subject anymore. And I have a good idea who it was.

The aforementioned ‘Windsong’…in a B-24…..minus kid….on a GOOD hair day….in a relatively good mood…minus husband….happy not to be at work….but not so happy that she’s not flying in this shot…

    Anyway…I present Denise…

Good to see the Shack up and running, toured this plane back in 2000 when it was not YET a live airframe, great to see her running…likewise the Canberra is looking good, she looks a LOT different than when we saw her looking pretty tired out on the ramp…
