Quite and in which case it would have to be an attractive package compared to the airlines (one again would imagine)
Oooh it’s a big one too. Many happy returns. 🙂
List amended. Tony feel free to also manage it by using the Edit button on your first post.
Not sure personally as I don’t meet the single pilot minima (but if you’d like my CV let me know!). Depends on what level of experience you are looking for. Toward the lower end say (complete guess) €30k ?
You may get a good response by asking on the Biz/GA section of PPRuNe.
I’ll create a list on the first post of those who said they can attend and will amend as necessary
Sorry to dissappoint you Blue Robin but the paint scheme bere’s no relation to the contract, she just needed one. Although that kinda spoils the fun, could have teased that one out for a bit……:D
So it was Mike’s choice then. I bet he nicked it by looking at the BAS Dash-7, which sometimes parks next to the CF fleet. 😉
The former owner of G-AJRB could hardly shift his 5J1 for 3 grand iirc (no annual, Cirrus engine, had been sat outside for a few years).
Anyway (as the old argument goes) if an aeroplane could fly, it should…
Well airworthy would I guess be about £10k-14k, so work down from there?
Which airframe is it?
Weren’t the problems to a degree developed out with further revisions?
I’m settling in ‘AF working for the BAS as I mentioned above.
The paint scheme looks familiar…
What’s the contraption fitted to the starboard side of the fuselage of G-ANAF?
Nice pics BTW.

It’s an APU (gas turbine aux power unit) presumably to power the radar systems. I guess there must be a JetA1 fuel tank also fitted?
A couple of lines in bought the Yak52 incident immediately to mind. Fortunately this pilot is not a statistic – well done him!
The only cracked zip on a suit should be for a barf-bag.
Same from me too, I hope some obscene amounts of AVGAS are consumed in celebration. Not to mention the beer also 😉
Thanks Richard, these are indeed the photos I was thinking of. Good aren’t they? If I have a mo, I shall try and dig out the original thread.

That’s the DC-3 wot used to be at Kemble (and still is?). Last time I saw it a few years back there, it was in the southside hangars perhaps having an annual. AFAIR it is on the N-register. Good to see Mr Collett gaining something of a small reputation in fixing warbirds.
