DGH, I’m bouncing up and down on the spot about the new scheme on ‘AF. When can we now?
By the way, are you still after volunteers? I would imagine a lot of hangAr work starts now out of season?
Likely related to former RAF Stratford, now Alscot.

I wonder how much thrust the APU provides…
I was about to suggest that would be a good idea 😎
Sure looks PINK to me! Is the radome going back on? Nice to see some new paint on ‘er.
James, there’s a photo of one in your signature.
Random guess, Spitfire?
Well done, I would consider changing your title now rather than being “rank 5” (go to the User CP)
So any idle speculation as to an ideal place the Club could hold future Rallies? Airfield, park or stately home?
Joined up manager thinking as ever. You must have been peeved Albert?
XN923, if I were a television producer, I would having read your comments probably begin commissioning a documentary about now. There’s definite scope there for a subject that been little covered at least for my generation.
Good spot CD. There was also this thread to, which I recall.

Don’t think the Petitions website can do much. I would imagine there is little No 10 can do for an aircraft owned by a foreign national. You would pretty much get a response back claiming so.
If you chaps knew the mess the CAA was getting in, about the committee nature of JAR, then EASA is a step in the right direction. On the whole in my view the rationalisation of rules across has been a boon. However some stupid rules do creep in, particularly if the consultation has been bungled…
The insurance rule is nothing new, 2005 I believe. Sally B has been operating under it since then thanks to lots of assistance. There are probably quite informative threads commenting on the insurance regs if you were to take time and search these forums. Why is it a problem now for Pink Lady or have they managed to stave off the money issues until now?
I say again, is there process under way which will modify the insurance ruling for affected aircraft like the B17?
One wonders how if it is feasible and of it would be worthwhile modifying the “paper value” MTOM below the requisite threshold :diablo:
Hi, which country did you have in mind?
