0815 pilot ejected, but killed (see below).

Farmers/witnesses claimed it crashed into a corn field, bounced, and again crashed at 100 m behind the gas station.
They heard at least four explosion noises, hurried to the wreck, and didn’t find the pilot.
400 m from the wreck, they found the pilot, without life sign, strapped to his seat, and parachute partly opened, possibly because of the low-altitude bail-out.
0847 was #4, and 0815 was #6, in Thunder Tigers flight.

During Han Guang Exercise 30, from 6 AM to 11 AM, ROCAF F-16, IDF, Mirage 2000, and E-2K landed, re-armed, re-fuelled, and took off at this section of this highway, as an auxiliary runway during combat.
The first aircraft, a F-16, landed at 7 AM.

From fiscal year 2019, two 777-300ER will replace two 747-400 as the Japanese royalty and prime minister’s aircraft.
They probably will be again based at Chitose AB, Hokkaidou.
747 has two floors.
777 has one floor, is narrower, but consumes up to 30% less fuel.
777 range about 14,000 km, is about 1,000 km farther.

About 4:40 PM, crash-landed at a farm, at Wang Si Town, Da Yi County, Cheng Du City, Si Chuan Province.
Five crew wounded.
Witnesses claimed the helo wobbled as it descended, hit the perimeter wall of a factory, and crash-landed on its ****.
Its rotors kept turning, until it rolled onto its left side, when the blades hit the ground, and broke.
Witnesses feared it would explode, and hesitated.
When it didn’t, they rushed to rescue its crew.
After 10+ minutes, a second helo landed, and flew away with four less-wounded crew.
A local ambulance rescued a fifth crew.
Crash site was 50 m from Cheng-Wen-Qiong highway = highway that connects Cheng Du, Wen Jiang, and Qiong Lai.
About 7:56 PM, Si Chuan On-Line reporter at Da Yi County People’s Hospital, reported it was treating two wounded crew for fractures.
Both were men: FAN Hao (22), and LI Xiang Hui (21).

Environment, human error blamed for Apache crash (update)

Taipei, July 15 (CNA) – The environment and human error were found to be the main causes of the April [25 April 2014] crash of an AH-64E Apache attack helicopter in northern Taiwan, the Army said Tuesday morning when it presented the conclusions of its investigation into the accident.
