A WWII Zero fighter recovered in PNG in 1970s, and restored to flyable condition in USA, is scheduled to come home = arrive at Kagoshima Airport, Japan, on 2014/12/07.
Disassembled and transported by trailer(s), it will be re-assembled.

South Korea defers purchase of in-flight refuelling tankers

The South Korean Government is reportedly planning to defer the long-pending acquisition of in-flight refuelling tanker aircraft for the national air force.
The KRW 1.4 trn ($ 1.26 bn) project is likely to be postponed until around February 2015 because the bidders are yet to make an acceptable offer, as reported by Chosun Ilbo.

Capsized rubber boat appeared on sea near air base.
Fire Department, JCG, and Prefecture Police boats, divers, and helicopters searched for rubber boat occupant(s).
Air base decided SAR had priority, and cancelled demo flight in afternoon.
The truth was in the morning, a man in his 70s, was fishing on the rubber boat.
10:30, it capsized, and he fell into the sea.
He wore life vest, and another fisher on another boat rescued him.
He went home by motorcycle.
Before noon, people saw and reported the empty rubber boat.

Its pilot(s) walked away from the aircraft.

About 1:10 PM, crashed and caught fire, at the fountain before the sales department office building of a residential property, Qing Gang Shu Village, San Dao Yan Town, Pi County, Cheng Du City, Si Chuan Province.
The aircraft also cut power lines, and caused power loss.
According to witnesses, at least one pilot ejected, was found by villagers, didn’t seem wounded, remained silent, and was quickly taken away by local police.
On the ground, staff were working at the sales office, and at nearby shops.
At least seven civilians were wounded, and at least three of whom were seriously burnt.
Pi County fire department deployed at least five fire trucks and three ambulances.
