BTW, one of the on-line aliases I use is “Gamera”, but back in the flame wars amongst Usenet newsgroups, aeons ago, I decided to use my real name, to enhance my credibility, against other flame-baiters who hid behind aliases.
I’m not a big fan of the F-16, but I used to play and write about Falcon 3.0 and its add-ons, and still am mildly interested in the Jap F-2.

For 50th anniversary air show, in 2008 May, at Miho AB, Tottori Prefecture, three JASDF aircraft are decorated with characters from manga series Gegege no Kitarou.
C-1, T-400, YS-11.
Decals on tail fins and special paint scheme continue until 2008 December.

(The Kitarou characters in the decal do not include Nekomusume the cat-girl!?
Unlike the original manga, the Nekomusume in the newest TV anime is very cute.)
