ISTR something about the F-14 can track 24 and engage six, and the F-16 can track 30 and engage four, but I don’t know the relevant radar versions.
If these numbers are correct, then probably the F-15, as an air force interceptor, can track tens of targets and engage some of them.

JASDF has a Type 91 guidance system for bombs, previously called GCS-1, that can be added to a Mark 82 500-pounder, or to a JM-117 750-pounder.
JASDF tested them from 1988 to 1990, and standardised it in 1991 (thus Type “91”).

111th Squadron, JMSDF, based at Iwakuni, and 829th Squadron, RN, have become sister squadrons.
111th Squadron flies the MCH-101, and 829th Squadron flies the EH-101.
They become sister squadrons to exchange aviation safety and aircraft maintenance experiences.

JGSDF Aviation School, at Akeno JGSDF Base, Ise City, Mie Prefecture.
During training flight, dropped iron pin.
Diameter, 0.5 cm. Length, 5 cm. Weight, 20 g.
One of two pins that stop passengers cabin left door.
13 crew and passengers.
9:00, took off, and flew above base and Matsuzaka City.
After two hours, landed.
During checks before flight scheduled at 13:00, could not find pin.
Cancelled flights on January 16 afternoon, and January 17, for double checks.

During flight, dropped metal wire antenna, and rubber component and screw that attached antenna.
Diameter, 1 mm. Length, 2 m. Weight, 100 g.
During flight from 13:20 to 15:48, flew above Higashiyamato City, Kodaira City, Kokubunji City, Fuchuu City, Kokuritsu City, Tama City, and Hino City.
Higashiyamato in Tokyo, Kodaira, Kokubunji, Fuchu, National City, Tama, Hino jumped over in order, that are missing parts, as when landing on the airport around 48 minutes at 3:00 pm I noticed that.

During training, dropped distress signal tubes, into Ise City.
Set of two metal cylinders, contained explosive, in cloth bag, carried by pilot (37, Major) and co-pilot (34).
Diameter, 5 cm. Length, 14 cm. Weight, 550 g.
January 12, from 16:30, training flight to Dainichiyama Mountain, Watarai Town, Mie Prefecture. Two hours. Total 26 km.
January 13, after 10:00, recovered from slate roof of factory, 500 m to 700 m north of JGSDF base.
Factory worker reported he heard sound of thing dropped on roof, on January 12 evening.
School claimed pilot and co-pilot brought the tubes.
When they boarded helicopter, they possibly placed them near the steps on helicopter, forgot them, and took off.

The retired B-26 from Classic Aircraft Aviation Museum at Portland, USA, arrived at Kao Hsiung Port, Taiwan.
On 4 January, it would be delivered to ROCAF Academy at Kang Shan.
According to schedule, on 9 January, US mechanics would come and re-assemble the B-26 in as few as one day.
After about three weeks, US mechanics would assist to re-paint the B-26 as a ROCAF Black Bat spec ops squadron aircraft.
Afterwards, they would supervise the disassembly, packing, and emigration of two ROCAF retired F-5E and F-5F (one each).
Before the exchange, Classic Aircraft Aviation Museum already had at least two B-26s.

Pilot lost control of crashed jet: Air Force

Air Force officials said Thursday that a mistake by one of the pilots had caused the fatal trainer jet crash earlier this month, finding the aircraft had no functional defects.
