WRT the SDF aircraft at Matsushima AB and Sendai AP wiped out by tsunami, JMOD requested repair funds for one JGSDF EC225LP special transport helo, one JMSDF T-90 trainer, six JASDF F-2B engine repairs, and one JASDF UH-60J.
] Does anyone have sources on what Japan plans to do in order to restart it’s training program for F-2s?
One or two days after the earthquake + tsunami, the F-2 student pilots already went from Matsushima to other air bases with F-2Bs.

Ashes will be buried at Bi Tan Air Force Martyrs Cemetery.
Presuming this cemetery is in USA, maybe (just guessing) he was a former ROCAF member who retired and emigrated to USA?
Anyway.
I’ll ask around.

MBDA Germany prepares the way for C-RAM laser weapon system
The ability to direct 10 kW laser power over a long distance and reach a target with a high quality beam is a decisive forward step.
MBDA Germany has conducted several successful tests with its laser demonstrator.
This is evidence of major progress in terms of achieving a C-RAM (Counter Rocket, Artillery, Mortar) laser weapon system.
The results also confirm MBDA Germany’s leading position in Europe in this domain.
To quote an ancient Chinese proverb, “Different strokes for different folks.”
I’ve an on-line friend in Taiwan who takes photos of ROCAF deceased pilots’ gravestones, and they are… a resource for military aviation history research.
