The Chicom then “harmonised” their RP-22 radar as Type 204, and P-29-300 engine as WP-15.

Hmm. According to my file, none of the F-5A/B in your two lists had crashed.

has ROCAF T-38A serial numbers.
ROCAF flew the T-38A twice.
First, in 1972, when USAF requested Iran, South Korea, and Taiwan to supply F-5A to South Viet Nam AF. ROCAF supplied 48 F-5A to South Viet Nam. OTOH, USAF supplied 28 T-38A to ROCAF.
Second, in 1995, when ROCAF bought the F-16, ROCAF borrowed 40 T-38A from USAF.
ROCAF also supplied a few F-5A/B to Philippines.

More ROCAF F-5A/Bs and T-38As?
Seriously, if you’ve a list of ROCAF F-5 and T-38 ROCAF and non-ROCAF serial numbers, please post it.
Last week, I just began to on-line research a bit about ROCAF F-5 and T-38 crashes, and can use these serial numbers for comparison.
I checked the Chinese and English Wiki, which (IMO surprisingly) have fewer details about the D-21 series than in the Jap Wiki,
http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/D-21_%28%E8%88%AA%E7%A9%BA%E6%A9%9F%29#.E5.AE.9F.E6.88.A6.E9.81.8B.E7.94.A8
esp about Operation Senior Bowl, between 1969.11.09 to 1971.03.20, when four D-21Bs were (duh) operationally launched towards the Chicom nuclear experiment site at Lop Nur.

I’m looking for any images of these types, particularly those showing both the Taiwanese serial and the FMS serial on the tail.
Today is your lucky day. Try:
B&W photo of ROCAF F-5A 1210 (10522) and comrades. The d_mn canopies block the ROCAF serial numbers. 8(

] When was the last major military sale you heard of?
The first three that pop up: S-300… Sovremenny… Su-30MK2…
OTOH, the carriers weren’t military sales…
The good thing is that China will show more and more. 2010 will be better then 2009. 😉

15 December 2009:
“TRDI develops UAV
Air-launch, auto-pilot, auto-landing
All success!
Ioujima”
(Off-topic alert.)
For comparison, a couple weeks ago, Yahoo! Taiwan has an article about a ROCAF couple who were both C-130 pilots, and the wife’s one rank higher than the husband.
While the reporters were interviewing the wife, at Jin Men AB or somewhere, she said he happened to be piloting another C-130 that just landed at the AB, and he joined her for a photo op.
PR stunt by ROCAF, IMO (as a conspiracy theorist). 8D
