Despite the a320 for competition the 737NG series is the fastest ever airliner to hit 1,500 deliveries.
The 777 has outstripped the A340 in sales, despite being launched after the A340.

I know this numbers. But you know too that Airbus grow every year and they have more deliveres/year as boeing

The A380 can operate everywhere where a 747 can operate. Tor pefect Operating ready for the 80m wingspan and 555 people. Until now there are Munich and Frankfurt “A380-ready”. But they will be more when the A380 go in service.

Good to see orders for the A380 at 180, but it still needs to sell 250 of the beast’s to break even on the project..

Frenchmen arent ugly but I doubt whether the EU would be as strong at criticising France or l’Allemange for saving their precious flag carriers.

Frenche have, as other Countrys, still a “Flag Carrier”. And?

Olympic, in particular is one of my favourite airlines. I love them for their dont care attitude, old 732s and the A300s, they are inefficient but they are an airline of character and a proud carrier.

Because you love old airliners is no reason why you should hate the EU because they want get the “smokers” from the sky

If a goverment wants to prop up its national airline it should be allowed to do so and it should be something for that nation and its politicians to decide not the EU with its strong French/German membership who would love to see their carriers thrive at the expense of the smaller states carriers!
