Who’ll be the first scale modellor to enter a model in a competition of the Tate with the two aircraft in it?:D
Roger Smith.
Hi Paul, welcome to the forum.
Just to expand on Bruce’s advice to look for numbers. If they are, as is likely, Dunlop wheels you want a four figure number preceeded by the letters “AH” on each wheel eg “AH1234”. You may also find “AHO” numbers which are sub assemblies.
These numbers will be stamped on the actual wheels (the hubs) and not on the tyres.

……. There are two sides to every story…….
Not wanting to get embroiled in this argument but watching interested from my sideline/on the fence/armchair.
However, aren’t there three sides to this story – the middleman as well? 🙂

Thanks for posting – nice to see the contents of these foreign museums.

PS wouldn’t mind seeing that stored Yak-23 in a UK museum.
Let’s hope the re-enactors haven’t got any AA guns :diablo:

G-AOIR below flying at Little Staughton Airshow last year, I looked in G-INFO and the last registered owners live in Atherstone.
Keith.
That’ll be Atherstone, Warwickshire – or more precisely Baxterley where owner Ken Broomfield has his own strip. He flies it fairly regularly.
For Baxterley and their up-and-coming fly-in go to

I’ll be there on the Saturday – first time at an RAF display for many years.
I had hoped to see the Vulcan there as I had spent a weeks summer camp there (1963??) during the Vulcan’s heyday when an ATC Cadet.
Ah well.
Roger Smith.
You can see it at Croughton but the chances of taking a pic very low 😡

Thought I heard a couple of radials rumbling this morning about 9.30 – 10.00 – I live about 5 miles from Coventry Airport.

Gosh – we’re at post 37 and nobody’s mentioned the Stork Hotel yet .
Or is there nothing we don’t know about that famous place:diablo:

How quickly will salt water start to affect it? If it was flushed (even immersed?) in fresh water quickly enough could it be ok?
Roger Smith.
