Don’t know what happened to their LA-9? Might be in storage somewhere? And one of their engineers itimated to me that they have another Hurricane somewhere, but it could’ve been a wind-up
Nice shots, and OMG they are getting on with Mary Alice, aren’t they??

Is there an airworthy original B-26?
Yeah, Kemkit Weeks has a flyable early model B-26 (40-1464) in Polk City, Florida, but it apparently hasn’t flown for some years
Beautiful!!-Doesn’t Kermit Weeks have an airworthy ’26?
Always wondered about that replica. They didn’t seem to have any trouble at all getting a permit for it.
I’ll be easy to spot Bloke with bald head, walking with a limp:(
Fury, Demon, 2 Nimrods and Hind up from Old Warden before the end of the year then!!
I can’t repeat what I said when I saw it, but let’s just say the local vicar would’ve had a heart attack! Beautiful job everybody!
What about meeting somewhere like the gatehouse. It will be less crowded round there, and forumites will be more conspicuous
Thats no way to speak about his missus :diablo::diablo::diablo:
Brilliant!!
My records show that this P-40F is 41-19841 / VH-PIV. But I site here ready to be corrected.
You’re right, Foxwell!- It’s in the colours of a 78th Fighter Group aircraft based near Naples during February of 1944. (And I knew all that without looking at the current issue of Aeroplane at all!)
Great programme!-well done to all concerned (especially Mr Teichman)-that plane looks lovely!
Did the Buchon ever have cannons fitted in to the prop spinners as the Me-109 did?
Doubt it, if you remember, the original DB engine was ‘upside down’ -but not the Merlin
The first person on the mainland from Europe was an Italian with the Englicised name of John Cabot, who went over from Bristol, I believe-but there is some debate anout whether the Vikings got there first PS , would LOVE to get to Chino one day
I have to ask, will it be at… Old Warden at some point??
