Well the Global Express is a good plane and being used in many way now not originally intended or even thought of. We all know that the Phalcon Radar is a good system, probably the best, I wonder if IAI would consider putting it on a bigger plane (Something other than an old 707).
Thanks for that mate but this was a Jet trainer in the same class as the SK-60, by the looks of the design it had a tandem cockpit rather then a side by side one
Interesting news, do you think Korea will go for them?
Here’s another for you
Another Jetpack
Here’s something for you.
Jetpacks
So has a result been established yet as to a cause?
That’s an old one as well and there are so many versions of it, but thanks, they are all good, love the blind pilot one!
Air China Flight ZH-0039, a DC-3 flying from Zhengsen To Houngdou was flying in rough weather when both engines got knocked out, the pilot and co-pilot ran back and jumped out calling “Bhudda Bhudda catch me, Bhudda Bhudda catch me”, suddenly a huge hand came out of the clouds catching them both and placing them on the ground.
An American on that flight, the only passenger, decided to try it as well. He jumped out calling “Bhudda Bhudda catch me, Bhudda Bhudda catch me”. The hand appreaed and caught him. In relief that it worked he said “Phew thank god” and the hand droped him.
Great to see Mexico gaining some teath finally, now to do something about the Air Force 😉
Actually AdM has some wonderful ships in service and all the new modern ones are incredible, those new ones that were designed and built in Mexico and incorperate what appear to be stealth characteristics are great!
Osh: funny, very funny 😛
ALO: mate thatis rather good, i’ve never heard that one before, I like it. Does Lauda still exist?
Never mind what I just said, I have been put in my place, i’ll just crawl back to my usual haunt
You sure that’s at LAX? I saw a shot similar to that taken when the A-380 first flew! This looks like it, very much like it.
As for the pic being taken, the observation aircraft and subsequent photographer aren’t that close, you’ll find they are using a tele-photo lens. I don’t know any country in the world that allows airtraffic that close under normal conditions, prototype flying is the only exception and that’s because during the critial phases of flight everything is recorded in the most minute detail!
The thing about ASC getting the contract is that their claim is based on the handeling of advanced technologies and not surface ships.
Building Meko designs is fine but incorperating high tech equipment is another thing!
Oh man if that were me I would have jumped in and flown the thing 😉
For what it is worth…cos Airbus is now delaying Qantas’ A380 deliveries by 6 months!
Why are they doing that? And more importantly, why hasn’t Qantas mentioned anything?
As expected there have now arissen many claims that the Government was paid off for this decission. People from Tenix in Williamstown, Victoria are calling that the government was paid to swing the result in favour of ASC of South Australia.
The PM has stated that the decission comes not by any money taking but simply who was in a better postition to offer the right facilities.
Tenix has been a long time ship builder in Australia with the last ships being the Anzac class. ASC have built the Collins class subs and are a realitively new commer to the defence circuit here in Australia.
