Steve: that’s it mate, I did remember posting it before but father time is taking my memory away piece by piece and I couldn’t remember where I posted it.
That’s what I was thinking too Wan. Base huls could have been built and systems added later that way costs would have been placed on the country wanting the different system.
Alternativly this would have been a good chance to kick off Modular design systems.
The only problem with HTMS Chakri Naruebet is that she never leaves port nowadays, in the last six years I have not seen her move once, that’s why I’m trying to find out if the Matadores are still active!
Uni: mate I forgot all about Whyalla and as for those new lumps of tin (re: the Armidale Class), they need to be reflective- so that everyone can target them and sink them so that we get new PB’s that are actually fit to do the duty, not bleeding throw backs from Hollywoods Miami Vice show.
