    and theyre pretty tough as one that was slated for fifi was used in rare bear at last years reno and ran second in the gold final at 485mph iirc 😮

    done mine this morning.
    point cook is incredibly important to aviation history in Australia,it really angers me the way the bureaucrats have wasted what could be a great site.

    jdk is the Blenheim the one restored recently or another survivor ?
    and i think the mob restoring the flying one would have loved one of those mk1 noses beautiful condition

    I invite all the readers of this topic to read the full Franck Report as kindly posted by Poundskater and tell us what you think about it.

    i’ve read the report and i do agree with some of it there seems to me a glareing problem,as far as i know the united nations didnt come into existance till 1948 !!
    so how would a dmonstration to a body that didnt come into exsitance till after the capitulation of japan solve the problem of the war with japan?

    2- tempest(either centorus or sabre).
    3- p40 i dont know why but they seem to really do the right stuff at displays.

    1- zero the samuri was the first pilots biograhpy i ever read .
    2- ki 43 well i can wish.
    3- ki 61 absolutly beautiful and being restored just up the road from here.

    1- avon sabre will fly this year(maybe the next couple of weeks).
    2- phantom raaf had them but i was to young to remember them:mad:.
    3- f111 oh how i’ll miss them:( .

    2- he 162 i just love the look.
    3- j7w2 shinden kai the ww11 jet canard,sure not built but proof that the japanese were thinking jets with the best of them.
    and for honerable mention dhc4 caribou nothing sounds like them
