I think those of us not in the region, but, who have digital should be able to view it.

By all accounts the aircraft were put on board Wasp in the standard grey green scheme which was deemed to be inappropriate for Malta, the stores were raided and a blue scheme applied. The exact shade of this blue is a mystery today and 597 was painted in a representative blue.

Maybe the experts can back up this claim, Mark12, VoyTech or even Daz !!!!

Can i ask who owns the Hurricane ,Spitfire and the Piper Seneca.And will the blue paint scheme stay on the Spitfire hope it does it looks brilliant.

The Spitfire and Hurricane are both owned by the Historic Aircraft Collection and based at Duxford.

The blue paint scheme is only temporary, for the purposes of this trip.

The Cessna T303 Crusader !!! Is owned and operated by Roche Bentley. He’s the gentleman at present on Malta with one of the biggest smiles around, that is after Clive’s and Charlie’s.
