T/o 21.54 Leeming, crashed in target area, all are buried in Kiel War Cemetery except for P/O Evans who has no known grave.

I tend to agree with JBS and VoyTech, R1038 was lost without trace, and the crew are remembered on the Runnymede memorial, X9879 was shot down near Kiel and the crew killed, which to me say’s it was destroyed on impact.

But at a guess I would say that this is a Whitley V. Halifax would have an upper turret !!!!
