I have both region 1 and 2, beware of getting the US version, it doesn’t contain the extras that appear on the UK Special Edition.

A Friend of mine sold his 1956 857/S, Monza Spyder Scaglietti one of only 4 made, the figure given was somewhere in the region of $1.2m, he also at one point owned a Jaguar D Type and a Maserati all of which had either won or had raced at Le Mans

Personally I chickened out at 125, as Mrs. P was hitting me in the arm.

I have the same speed limiter fitted in the Porsche !!!!

Porsche’s are Supercars that can be used as everyday cars, that’s why I bought mine, however given the choice I’d have a Ferrari, the Enzo looks nice in yellow don’t you think ????

Is that a Dino Steve, looks nice in Black, my third choice after Yellow and Red !!!!

It’s the only place I know where they have a don’t look a like competition and setting up an identity parade is a real problem !!!!

Usually you’re asked if you would sauce with your food, not would you like a knife and fork !!!!

Gas plugs (and indeed all the gas parts) on SA80’s get caked in carbon when you put rounds through the thing, and they all have to be cleaned after every firing, as well as normal daily cleaning. The standard method of cleaning the gas parts is to get a piece of scotchbrite and rub the cack off the metal. Unfortunately this takes ages, and the scotchbrite never really reaches into every groove or angle, so some bright spark devised the idea of dropping your gas plug into a mug of coke. Fetch it back out two minutes later, and the carbon is all disolved off. Wipe dry, oil it, put the weapon back together. Job jobbed. 🙂

But, if coke does that to rifle bits, what’s it doing to YOUR bits…? Urgh, shudder…

May be you shouldn’t fire the thing ??? and wouldn’t the sugar in the coke effect the parts as well ?????
