    Hi Hope it goes well for you, But it seems people just dont care anymore, I’m trying to help The Battle of Britain Wings Appeal, I’ve contacted over 74 football clubs asking for memorabilia, with not much luck most of them are not interested it makes me feel sick to be British.

    If you take out a loan to purchase the Jetski, then yes you can claim back the tax against the interest, here in Jersey that is.

    Uou can only claim wear and tear if it’s through a business, apart from giving pleasure rides what sort of business would use a jet ski?????

    My Sigma’s both motor driven focus, not the fastest in the world or the quietest but quite adequate for the purposes I use them for.

    However when funds permit (next year) I will invest in a Canon 100-400 ISM.

    Well my experience tells me, that third party lenses (like Sigma or Tamron) are close on some occasions, but also in the end the original lenses are a tad better.
    So I would always decide based on the lenses. There is no sense in getting a 10D or something and adding a medicore Sigma (those cheap lenses from them) to it.

    The reverse could said about buying a Canon or Nikon Lens. if you go for the lens and at a higher premium and for that reason can’t afford a decsent body it will defeat the object. Personally I think it would be much better to go for a reasonable body and good third party lens, and up grade at a later date if funds allow.

    Make sense in terms of cost? Ok, if each country in Europe is made to pay for our change then maybe, not just us. We want it the way it is, others want to change it. You want to change it, you pay for it. Also, although the majority drive on your side of the road, many drive on ours. So why change just because Europe wants us too?

    Here here. Are there any plans in the pipeline to change the UK road sign to the metric system, they’ve already done it with weights and measures ?

    Other countries within Europe but not necessarily part of the EU that drive on the left are Cyprus, Jersey, Guernsey, Alderney and the Isle of Man.

    Worldwide the majority of former British Colonies drive on the Left, as well as Japan.

    I can’t speak for the airshows in the UK, as I don’t get to visit them that often. But our annual airshow here in Jersey is becoming very repetitive.

    I noted from their website that we will have the standard RAF format aircraft , Tornado, Jaguar (not for much longer), Tucano, Seaking, Harrier, Nimrod, BBMF, red Sparrows as well as the Scandanavian historic flight, Dukes of Brab’ and the Utterly flippin boring. I don’t know who they are catering for because it is exactly the same as last year. Even the general punter would expect something different each year.

    I hate to say it, it happened to me in France a few years ago, just wasn’t concentrating. The screaming from the present MRSEN830 who was at the time the future MRSEN830 was a dead give away that I had done something wrong.

    However I must point out that our continental cousins drive on the wrong side of the road all of the time 🙂
