Frankvw knows the french for idenity card, I suggest he comes for a holiday with us in the Channel islands.
Flood, old people driving highly polished 10 year old cars I can cope with, old people taking there Subaru or Volvo T70 out at 40mph I can’t.
It’s young people who drive Mini’s thinking they can beat everything else on the road at 80 mph that I don’t like. 😀
This is the Channel Islands we are talking about – they would all get bored and sneak off to procreate with thier own siblings…;)

It’s the only way to keep the money in the family.
It may just work.

Trouble is how do we check their nationality before hand without alerting them to the dangers of being on the beach at that time.?
At the moment just the railway kind, but if we run out of those we will have to broaden our horizons.
I mentioned it to someone at the weekend that there is still a law in place here in Jersey that allows you to shoot Frenchmen on the beach early in the morning. Hand87 5 has been warned.
What do all the anorak spotters do if there aren’t any trains? The probably amuse themselves by stealing dustcaps.
We hunt them with hounds here in the Channel Islands.
A pleasure that you tax exiles are spared.
I went on one once, are they still steam powered ?
Morning all, I’m slaving away in London at the moment after a crappy train journey in.
Train !!!! what’s one of those then ?
I still havenn’t caught up either, you know I spent of average 13 1/2 hours a day, on that airfield this weekend.
You lucky lucky bar-steward (said in a Micheal Palin type voice), what I would give to spend 13 1/2 hours a day on an airfield.
I have stroked his goat 😉 😀 Anna 😀
When was that ? Saturday evening ?
While you were being carted off for your free flight, who looked after your dog?
Planes and Friends
I agree !!!!
Just got back to a working PC (at work) I would like to add my bit to the rest and congratulate Snapper on a very moving ceremony. You don’t know how hard it is to keep a video camera still during the last post while fighting back the tears. It gets me everytime.
Being able to spend the time talking to Tom, Albert and Jim the night before at the Red Lion was great, three very modest gentlemen, but aren’t they all !!!!
Hats off to you Mark. When’s the next one?
PS can you email or pm me Albert’s, Tom’s and Jim’s address I would like to send them a copy of the photo taken at the Red Lion.
Snapper is a world reknown authority on goats.
