Worth a thought the decline in the value of sterling. What it means is that the rest of the world has no confidence in our ability to do a good deal. But that’s ok, we have David Davis…

It means reckless speculators, the same ones who caused the financial crash, have found a new toy to play with. As we haven’t left the EU, and no deal is even being discussed, EVERYTHING to this point is pure speculation.

there is nothing wrong with the “Rafale” guys being passionate about the Rafale. It just makes them saucy.

Oh, language barrier, you do make me laugh sometimes 🙂

Thanks Fedaykin, I knew I had read there was nothing to the sidewinder hawk fleet.

Still looked damned good though 🙂

Starfish, there’s nothing particularly ‘left’ about a liberal immigration policy, or liberal thinking generally. To see how off-beam your thesis is, you only need to look at the elected governing parties over the period – for a Labour government to become electable it had to lose all sign of the left, while remaining liberal. I agree society had become more liberal over the past few decades, by the dictionary definition of liberal. However at the same time the ‘man in the street’ has -for example – gone from believing unions are necessary, through ‘necessary evil’ to just evil. That’s one of many measures by which we have plainly moved to the right.

That’s because British unions have a well founded reputation for being self serving opportunists. Regular striking by the likes of London Underground is not endearing. You only have to look across to Germany or Sweden to see how responsible employers and Unions can work in harmony. We won’t mention France…

    Open her mouth. 😀

Well, she is quite possibly the most condescending person on the planet, and incredibly irritating. She rolls her eyes at every opportunity, and sits there shaking her head with her eyes closed while in the middle of a discussion, which is not only rude, but makes her look mentally ill.

Then there’s her hypocrisy. Wasting tax payer money on portraits, sending her kids to private schools, undeclared earnings from the BBC etc. Hardly a model socialist.

She also seems to respect Mao as a “great moderniser”, plays the race card at every opportunity, while also saying things along the lines of ‘black mothers care more for their children than white ones’, and ‘white people are divisive’ etc, etc, etc.

By the look of it, Corbyns front bench is populated with London MP’s… but Abbott is probably the single worst politician in the UK, if you exclude Blair, and is utterly toxic. I’m actually starting to think we are witnessing the death throes of the Labour party in its current form.

Got to admit it’s clever – pull the rug out from under the opposition and then stand on it like it’s your own!

Labour have decided that they’re no longer interested in the centre ground, so a hollow gesture by the Conservatives is really all they need to win over swing voters. The scale of the massacre that is to befall Labour in 2020 will be something not seen in decades.

Probably worth mentioning that much of Chinas advancement has been on the back of duplicating what others have done, including theft and espionage, and still they are unable to design and build a world class jet engine.

The Chinese have repeatedly shown that they do not respect copyrights and patents, you can hardly blame the US for being cautious.

A ‘living allowance’ would solve a lot of the admin issues, if it included a property purchase / rental allowance, though it would still exclude people from living in the capital, and would be a calamity with our current open door immigration policy.

As said before, the best solution would be fewer people.

Did you have any particular ten million in mind…

Preferably those who hate or talk down the UK at every opportunity, which would certainly include a fair number of Corbyns Necrolytes. Followed by the casts of Made in Chelsea, TOWIE, and any other ‘reality’ TV show.

1 million homes and 10 million fewer people would really sort things out 🙂

Indeed. Principled, Honest and in possession of an intellect. A man who values substance over appearance.

Is that the same Jeremy Corbyn who has opposed the European project for almost 4 decades, and voted against every major EU policy and treaty? Who then seemingly changed his mind overnight after gaining leadership?

He’s just as crooked, corrupt and dishonest as most of the Westminster bubble, he just presents himself differently.

Ah, we should pay for the actions of people who lived long before we did. Guilt by ancestry?
