I know what you mean, but his economic rhetoric about Leave is nothing new. But one of the most powerful trading organisations in the EU refuting Remains claims about tariffs is certainly significant, especially considering Remains obsession with ‘experts’.

Remain are having a bit of a disaster today.

First, the German BDI states that they will not support trade tariffs being put on Britain if we leave:

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-36596060

And now, Jean Claude Juncker has stated:

“British voters have to know there will be no kind of any negotiation”

“we have concluded a deal with the PM – he got the maximum he could receive, and we gave the maximum we could give”

    https://twitter.com/bbclaurak?s=09

There go two of Remains most prominent arguments.

No John Green, he’s just bigoted against the British. Again and again this agenda of his surfaces on the forum.

They’ve gone to so much effort to achieve realism for the ground shots, I do wonder what they’re planning to do for the airborne ones, which will obviously be the highlight of the film. I can’t believe they will be purely using CGI.

They were also recently involved in this incident:

Rii clearly has an agenda, and judging by the sort of posts he puts on here, obviously holds some sort of grudge against the British. It’s the same sort of vindictive, divisive rhetoric that groups like Britain First use.

I don’t feel sorry for Britain First. I do feel sorry for the many people who were innocently duped into supporting that organisation when it was first set up, when it deceived tens of thousands into thinking it was a page to celebrate British veterans, national holidays etc. If you spread xenophobic messages, and demonise repeatedly politicians who disagree with your view, it’s only a matter of time until something nasty happens. I’m sure they honestly didn’t intend for anything like this, but then again, you don’t know who is reading said published material. In this case, someone with a recorded history of mental health issues, who lived in isolation.

The Guardian has posted a powerful and moving editorial on the murder of Jo Cox and its broader implications:

That Editorial is utterly abhorrent, trying to link Leave voters to this attack. And you trying to score political points on the same day that such a horrible thing happens makes you much more like Britain First than Jo Cox. You ought to be ashamed of yourself.

I think you’d fit in quite well with Britain First actually.

Worst case scenario, it will be something like a Buchon. I can’t imagine that of the few period correct airworthy front line Luftwaffe aircraft around, he’s going to intentionally crash something like a BF109E. Maybe a french built JU52? or one of the Spanish HE111’s?

Presumably he’s going to need to approach warbird operators for the other aircraft in this film? I can’t see too many being cooperative if they learn he’s planning to destroy something historically significant.

YF23 is a decades old design now, it won’t see the light of day in any way, shape or form.

    Very cool looking aircraft though.

Well since it is pro Remain poll in a newspaper favouring Leave it has a degree of veracity I would have thought.

I am a deeply committed outer as you would know if you read he thread so my criticisms of the Leave campaign are strongly felt. I think they have been hopeless and Remain deserve to win as they have outflanked Leave at every turn.

Remain have cheated and lied the entire time. They have more than twice the budget of leave, the civil service, the political elite etc. Everything is stacked against Leave. But, for all Remains scaremongering, the people will decide, and I have faith that people will choose freedom and hope over fear and servitude.

Cant see why they just didn’t go and purchase the airworthy PR9 at Kemble

Because this way we get two potentially airworthy Canberras instead of one 🙂

    Great update 🙂

Is there anything that can be done to restore the canopy? I have previously restored plastic lensed car headlights by sanding and polishing the haze out, but I’ve no idea if it would work on a canopy?

And is there any news on getting another hangar up? There was a lot of talk about that, but it seems to have died down. It would be a shame iff she had to live outside permanently after all the great work you’ve been putting in 🙂

Also, on an unrelated note, is there any news about the Mirage IV?
