All I know is that it brought a real thrill to what would otherwise have been a fairly dull RIAT.
I don’t think that’s fair. There were some brilliant displays, some of my favourites being the Hind, V22, Blenheim, Spitfire/Typhoon. The Red Arrows also put on a great show.
Given the scale and intensity of that battle, I would expect there to have been several Luftwaffe wrecks in the ruins.

Siebel Si 204 is a medium transport with a similar shape to the Heinkel He 111; a derelic airframe could be used to simulate the bomber (in fact, the Siebel has a twin tail, here changed to a single one as like as the Heinkel He 111).
After 1945, France and Czechoslovakia built it for their own air forces (respectively 240 and 180 airframes); it’s probably one of them which was used for the movie.
Best wishes.

There is also a case for fitting it with Merlins. I would prefer to see a radial Beau, but beggars can’t be choosers. 🙂
I don’t agree with fox hunting, though I am all for humane culling if it is necessary.
However, this issue is tiny compared to the one of Halal and Kosher slaughter, which sees thousands of animals killed in a brutal fashion every day just to satisfy a superstitious bunch.
I wager many of those against fox hunting on animal welfare grounds have no issue with Halal or Kosher slaughter.

This is a separate thing to the Walking Dead franchise, ‘Fear the Walking Dead’ will start airing soon, and that is a companion series.

IMO she is one of the best looking Spits in the world, her finish is totally flawless.
I am also eager to find out whether or not she will bestaying in the UK.
LM would have done better making it smaller and dependable on wet bags, instead..
Which would have ruined its stealth credentials, and made it no better than a Rafale.
That particular distinctive style of rear turret was first seen on the B17, then the B29, the TU4 clone of the B29, the TU16, and then the H6 clone of the TU16.
Err H-6K doesn’t have a rear turret. I don’t think any new build H-6s in the last decade have had rear turrets… and many on older variants were removed.
You can still see very clearly where the turret has basically been faired over.
One of the standout features of the H6-K for me is the rear turret, a feature that can directly trace its lineage back to the B-17 Flying Fortress of W2.
