There is a certain irony in that original registration given Thomas Cook’s previous identity.

The lift should be somewhere on the left…

The lift is clearly visible on the left. It is the light grey door beyond the striped curtain and cart stowages (the dark grey doors). You can see from the height of the door that it only carries equipmenet between the two decks.

I remember that thread well Ren, where does it hide these days? That’s quite a collection you’ve got.

I’m just a little intrigued to know what registrations they have put on them. I think GeminiJets usually have real reg’s, but of course there is no such thing as yet.

It’ll have been the fresh water feed for the forward galley

That’ll be my lesson for today 3dm. I had no idea that the supply ran that high up. I would have assumed it would run under the floor.

    Thanks,

I’m surprised the result was only 86%. I haven’t yet found any pilot willing to admit to voting no.

My favourite part of this was when the chief pilot wrote to all the flight crew explaining that BA didn’t want to “infect” Openskies with BA working agreements. How to win your team over!

Now what date was my next Moscow?

Ah but don’t worry, according to WW and co every problem in the world will be solved when T5 opens next month. Who knows, there may even be world peace.

in the end (nearest galley) overhead bins.!

Not quite sure where you mean Andrew. If, as I suspect, you mean overhead lockers I can’t for the life of me think where that would have been coming from.

Looking at that photograph I’m not sure preserved is quite the right word.

According to the Glasgow airport website there is only one charter to IBZ at 0600 on that date. It’s operated by TCX/MYT and carries the flight numbers TCX983K and MYT983.

Also IATA don’t list any airline with the flight prefix 50 or 50B. Where did you find this flight number?

I think this is more to do with BALPA agreements on long-haul flying than anything else.

The agreement with BALPA regarding Cityflyer pilots is that they will not fly anything with more than a certain number of seats, 115 if I remember correctly. So in theory no problem there.

I suspect it’s more to do with BA having whatever ETOPS approval is needed as well as already having Airbus aircraft and crew.

I’m not sure where in the thread the tech stop got entwined with industrial agreements and traffic rights, but as rog747 says it is just that, a tech stop.
