I like this forum. I read it at least twice(not two times) a day at least. I do feel though it can be a bit of a club on occasions and some of those that have been here the longest expect the comfy armchairs and the upstarts with a valid question sometimes cannot be bothered with or spoken down to for their lack of knowledge that they seek. Example Google it, very good if you know what you are looking for but if it was something like a little French monoplane of the 1930’s where will that get you. The search function here is FURBER’D so you need assistance.

For my sins I am a Mod on 2 forums and the goal of some people is to get a high post count. What I would do here is wipe every ones post count and leave their joining date and have + Reputation points that can be given to a member who helps out on that thread and -Reputation points for the offensive or snotty posts.

Just to finish. Spelling, Grammar and Punctuation.
Do we really have to pick other members posts apart if it has faults provided you can make sense of it,remember we are not all British with English as our first(or only) language!

Your last remark about the British Police. On one of the Road wars/Police interceptors or similar one officer said “never trust anyone to tell the truth.” I wonder if that applies to them too?

Goodnight I am going to try and sleep now. This storm is supposed to hit us at 8AM

I stand by what I said. The Taliban are not a signatory to the Geneva Convention but a terrorist organisation and should be treated as one. If they start behaving in a civilised manner in combat and also stop killing and maiming their fellow Afghans maybe I might have said something different. As for PTSD do you have first hand knowledge of it? I have and it still haunts me over 40 years later(thankfully not often now though) You mention Americans the most shameful act in Vietnam was Lt William Cally and My Lai. For those not familiar with it.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/My_Lai_Massacre.

I can offer no corroboration or even where it happened apart from the Middle East in 1942-3
My Father told me he shot a fellow pilot who crashed at a LG in Libya and was hopelessly trapped and burning to death.
He was not one for tall stories but if this did happen did it make him a murderer or a compassionate man?
