A sad and tragic occurance to which MB has taken the blame. Spin the coin and think of the number of lives saved by this company over the years. Not excusing this situation and the death of this pilot though which should not have happened.

Moggy forgetting your history?:D The 2nd amendment in their constitution was put their to stop the pesky British invading them again. Relax Americans HMS Ocean is for scrap next year and Bulwark and Albions fates are dodgy along with the Royal Marines. This means we will not have the capacity to terrify them into surrender any more!

The sanction for the 18 week* period is no more unfortunately thanks to the underfunding of the NHS. I bet you never thought you would here that from a lifelong Tory. I will vote Labour next time in less Mrs May gives me a billion quid tax free bribe. Lets face it Corbyn can hardly make more of a a dogs breakfast than we have now.
    * Your GP has to try and make a case for why you should be seen early and they are doing it for many thousands with little sucess.

On the NHS both my wife and I need knee replacements. The time quoted is about a year. I can manage with elbow crutches but my wife falls frequently. I have now gone privately for her and it will be 4 weeks with a custom made joint and the cost £13,500(good old equity release!) In talking to her surgeon a block has been put on knee and hip replacements at the NHS hospital where he also works. I am sorry for those who have to live in pain as they can not fund what we have done. As for Charlie Gard for gods sake let him go I fear it will all end badly but where is the harm in trying all avenues as I understand it crowd funding means it will cost the taxpayer nothing?

Hero Hargreaves? Yes he did a good job saving the aircraft but he was trained to fly it and no doubt the same goes for eventualities such as this.194 posts from the armchair critics over a piece of metal when no one was hurt.Sod all on GD where true heros of all walks of life rushed to help to dead and injured in which could have resulted in their deaths.Yes I know this is a bickering Aviation forum but that aircraft given enough money can hopefully be repaired 22 dead people and those with life changing injuries can’t. Anyone want to agree with me or flame me?

Well said Beermat I am sure that we have Members in Manchester who know that we care. “Blind bit of difference?” maybe just maybe the thoughts of many in this country will get a small crumb of comfort from the outpourings of sadness, grief, shock and horror at this wicked act. My praise also goes out to the emergancy services and the ordinary folk who did what they could for people they did not know.”Blind bit of difference” well they have brought people together they seek to divide.

So only four of us care to post a few words of sympathy or even a RIP(and one of them was from Finland) when inocents are murdered in your own country? What are you that unfeeling or scared to death the nasty terrorists might come and murder you in your beds? Stand with Manchester thats a joke here. I have seen more posts when a washed up star pops their clogs! Humanity you don’t know the word.

I break my absence on here to say this.
I stand strong with Manchester its people of all faiths and those around the world touched with such events. My heart goes out to them all.Remember in the darkest hour good people come together to help. The darkest of hours is lit by a glimmer of love and maybe that light will become a beacon for humanity. Evil does not win in the end.
