Come on Jim lighten up. Whats the matter with the silly old ******s anyway?
Just about any couple of that age on a day out take a big flask of tea and a tupperware box of sandwiches with them. Bad planning on their part!:)

As for Tesco if they are taking a cut from the Wings Day appeal I am fecking disgusted. If they are in evidence in my store which I will be visiting tomorrow I will make it my business to ask what the situation is and report back.
Aldi is a supermarket I use a lot now have a very simple policy, nochuggers, no bag packers, no collections and no tins. I much prefer this to having to tell people to F off all the time when entering other stores.

This is not to say I don’t give to charity just the ones I want such as Wings Day.Poppy appeal, Greyhound Rescue and most of all Help for Heroes.

Dolly Parton, The Queen of Country Music!!!!!!

Both my Wife and I are tremendous fans of her talent and business acumen.
We have nearly 1,000 songs of hers in our collection. For 65 years old she is red hot. her voice just seems to get better with age. I could go on and on about her but I think I will leave it there as I am sure you get my drift by now!

If you want to see her “Backwoods Barbie Concert” It was rerun on BBC 2 last Friday so it is on I Player for a couple more days.

I have no idea why she wanted your picture though it seems very strange.

I am as jelous as hell though!

I mentioned it on this thread because it is the Vulcan thread. I also said “As the operators keep saying money is tight. Just think what the media would say if it crashed on an urban area. Poorly maintained,I know its not but when would that get in the way of a headline”

Note I am not saying its a accident waiting to happen. All I am saying is this aircraft needs to be seen squeeky clean to prevent any further headlines about it. At the moment the public’s perception of airshows is coloured by the loss of Red4 (and the loss ofBBD)any any further incidents involving aircraft flying for “entertainment” are likely to get a great deal more attention than perhaps is warrented.

We on this forum(and others like it) know the shear bloody hard work, sacrifice(both in time and money) that goes into saving, restoring, jumping through hoops to fly aircraft such as this. I don’t think the ordinary public see it in this way.

This aircraft is the face of the (flying)preservation movement in the UK so anything out of the ordinary that happens to it will be reported. That is why I speak as I do.
