I am just pleased that what or did not happen did not cause any or very little damage and no injury. I thought this was the topic not Mod bashing!

I am more interested in hearing how the Hurri is. Lets face it there are not that many about compared to its glamourous BoB sister.

Well two problems in a fortnight that has forced this aircraft to land. Is this an unfortunate coincidence or should those who inspect and regulate things think about taking a closer look at it? Yes I would like it to keep flying if possible and yes I have given money to the project in the past and have enjoyed seeing flying over my house. My concern is it is a big aircraft and old.
Don’t tell my it can’t crash or won’t crash because like any other aircraft it can. If it did it could cause a great deal of carnage and fatilities.

So what that all boiles down to is I would like to see that aircraft thoroughly inspected by somebody super critical (CAA or who I don’t know) before it flies again.

As the operators keep saying money is tight. Just think what the media would say if it crashed on an urban area. Poorly maintained,I know its not but when would that get in the way of a headline.

Government kneejerk reaction which would probably prevent anything larger than a Tiger Moth at an Airshow ever again and the end of the BBMF and Red Arrows(BTW its great to see them up again)

Just a few thoughts of mine, you may agree or want to shoot me down in flames.

I use the free version and have never been asked for money either.

Do a disc cleanup and disc defragment.

    That usually works for me.

I feel this is to soon for this thread but as it is running here is my view.

Scrapping the Red Arrows in the light of the huge outpouring of support and sympathy for them would be a deeply unpopular move by the Government and would be a surefire vote loser. I am sure that has been discussed in Whitehall already.( or tomorrow at the latest when they can get their overpaid arses into work!)
