That was why I was trying to understand the FB numbers. After my post above, I looked through my other photos… FB 79323.

Fantastic.
Hello AM.
I agree the 94C fitting looks very much the same, but the part in your photo looks lacking in length to my eye – that the bent steel bar is too short overall?
Part number FB 42311 is associated with this mold. Does it make any sense?

Hi Beaufighter VI and the rest of you.
Can you tell us more about FB* part numbers (eg, the range of numbers)? I think I have seen some molds for FB part-numbers. I will dig up my photos/notes.
Although I appreciate the difficulties caused by trying to work supplies all the way across the planet, there are the efforts in Australia: John Parker’s journalism is very helpful…

Some recent additions: DHS Tech News Sheets and AAP.721.79 Vol 2 Part 1 Vampire Instructions 1-51 (RAAF Marks 30, 31, 33, 35, 35A).
Cheers.
Hi tomahawk21. The pair marked No.4 tank I believe are Mosquito.
The early wheels are back on the market. I can’t see any markings on the wheels themselves. AH.8218 is the wheel p/n if it is Vampire.

Not sure how to get a shorter link!
There was actually a pair of early Vampire wheels & tyres (single brake type) for sale recently – they had been in use in someone’s garden according to the seller. There were very appealing for me (wanting to build a DH.108 one day 🙂 ), but too expensive to buy and get to Australia. Alas, I cannot find them now.
Thanks to our friends in NZ and Malcolm at RAF Surplus, this problem has been solved. Cheers!
If anyone wanted to donate for one of mine, I would be most grateful
😉
Ejection Seat Mk.2 – Can anyone identify what aircraft this Mk.2 is installed in?

6, 7, I landed a fish in Devon
Thanks Blue 2. There is a chance they are drone parts as the whole lot came from Adelaide in South Australia. The drones largely operated from Woomera area in that state. The odd little bent parts painted grey did resemble a part with a W series number, so I think it likely they are Meteor.
Cheers
I believe this aircraft eventually wound up in Western Australia. In the 1980s I saw it at Jandakot Airport. It became a part of the West Australian Museum of Aviation along with a Dove. That collection dissolved. Last I heard the RAAFA museum took it in but I am not sure of the status.
