    glad you’ll be coming,I’m sure you’ll enjoy your day….
as I said in my original post re a meet,I will be busy marshalling the aircraft out on the airfield and there-fore not, necessarily able to attend any meet.If anyone wants to arrange a meet,I have offered/suggested the stall of my own Oxfordshire Aviation Group…again, like I say,I don’t know at this stage where-abouts on the airfield that will be,but…..
    hope this helps matey
anyone else interested in meeting up with Bisfit??????

OK…so how many forumites are going to Abbo….NeilP,ArmWaver and myself will be there, but will be otherwise engaged running the show(NeilP),and marshalling the aircraft(ArmWaver & myself),but I’m just wondering if anyone of you wanted to do a forum-meet then a good meet-up point could my Oxfordshire Aviation Group stall. Not too sure where-abouts we’ll be positioned, but you’d be more that welcome to use it as an r/v point if you want….
sorry I can’t help organise any such meet, but just offering an idea….

come along and enjoy the day

Well done Neil – coming together very nicely. This event gets better each year. Let’s hope the Jag is one of the new specially-painted display aircraft!

….and let’s hope they bring the “Coastal Command” Bryza over as well!!!!!!

Saw a talk by Chris Parker on the history of Sywell and the crash was featured in that and he said then it was still around… I was amazed but I look forward to the day she returns…
Cracking talk if you ever get thte chance to see it do so – most enjoyable hour or so and he only covered up to about 1945…

    ArmWaver,
have seen Mr Parker’s talk on Amy Johnson which was also good,
you wouldn’t be able to pass his details to me would you ol’ chap,so I can try to entice him to visit good ol’ Didcot for an Oxfordshire Aviation Group meeting
    cheers

That will be Duxford in the mid/late 80’s. The Freighter went to Canada(?) only to return a little later and crash on take off in Oxfordshire.

….at Enstone,in fact, and I do believe that parts of the aircraft are still there lurking behind one of the hangars, plus an engine and prop in the same hangar
