Sounds as if they are having big problems. Who owns the B767 thats on stand?

It sounds like it could be the Flyglobespan machine or it could be the flyjet which is currently sat at MAN??

    Hi Mark and Paul

I have to ask this question because I’m intrigued. Around 5 minutes ago, at 22:50, Saturday the 10th June, something very, VERY loud flew over my house 8 miles south-west of LBA. It sounded almost like a 732, but lounder. I’m puzzled. According to the LBA website the last flight departed at 22:35, and it was a Thomson flight to Ibiza, which I very much doubt would be loud enough to rattle my windows (unless the pilot decided to do an ultra-low fly-by over my estate).

    It was a RAF VC10.

By the way guys Jet2 have big problems at the moment. B757-200 G-LSAA has gone tec at LBA. The MAN Based B757-200 G-LSAB was brought back to LBA today as well as an Flightline 146. (This is Not the MAN based G-FTLC, this one posistioned in from Milan last night) On friday night 2, Jet2 B737-300’s operated to Palma in replacement of The normal B757. Tenerife was operated by a Futura B737-400 and Jet2.com B737-300, Dusseldorf was operated by the flightline 146. while the sole remaining LBA based B757 G-LSAC operated to Faro.

Big delays this eveing again hence the reason why G-LSAB is back at LBA tonight. She’s due to return back to MAN later tonight/Early Hours.

All acounts A Boeing 767 is currently on stand by for tomorrow if the problem persists.

Interestingly there is no mention of aircraft type on the site, apart from the fact they are 17 seaters. The only aircraft I know that is explicitly 17 seats is the Trislander. Is the LET410 not larger than a 17 seater?

    Hi Mark

I’ve Just noticed that at the bottom of the homepage on the Manx2 website it says that flights will be operated by BASe Air Kft

So it looks as though these flights are going to be this Let410 aircraft that has previously been mentioned

    Hi

Here’s my last flight on flightsim for this weekend. Well my last flight yesterday was in the queen of the sky a Boeing 747-400 Corsair tui flight from Cork to Cardiff. Well this time I decide to fly one of the smallest a BAe Jetstream 32 of Eastern Airways from Leeds to the Isle of Man. I got hit by a lot of tublance in a thunderstorm from Blackpool all the way across the Irish Sea to the Isle of Man. I manage to get blown all over the place. It was that bad I didn’t get time to take many shots on this part of the flight.

Here’s the Pic’s that I did manage to take.

I decided to fly TUI groups French airline, Corsair Boeing 747-400 posky modeled aircraft from Cork to Cardiff as a Rugby Union charter flight for the Cup final Yesturday. The flight did’nt take that long and it looks as though it turned out to be a good day for the Irish Fans yet again.

Parked up and ready for departure. Hopefully to a sunny Cardiff?

    Hi

Just thought I’ll update you that Jet2’s 3rd B757-200, G-LSAC did’nt turn up at Leeds/Bradford Airport on its delivery flight from Southend as expected today. It suffered 2 minor problems on a test flight and had to return back to Southend again for some more maintaince. Its not now expected to be delivered to the Jet2 LBA fleet base until sometime Monday, May 22nd at the latest NOW

Jet2 were due to commence B757 operations from its MAN base today. So the Manchester base will have to wait just a little bit longer until G-LSAA turns up. Its won’t be entering service at MAN until at least mid-week when G-LSAC has turned up at LBA and took over her duties.
