    blahhh…

I WOULDN’T STAND THAT CLOSE TO THAT BEAST EVEN WHEN IT WAS WINDING DOWN, BUT YOU HAVE TO APPLAUD THESE PEOPLE. I’M SURE IT WASN’T EASY TO GET THAT LOT WORKING AND SOME THRUSTING NETS ARE PROBABLY ON THE WAY.

THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE GET BADLY HURT JUST FESTERING IN FRONT OF THEIR COMPUTER OR DOING A BIT OF DIY.

MOST PEOPLE HAVEN’T GOT THE TECHNICAL ABILITY TO DO THINGS LIKE THIS – ITS FANTASTIC TO SEE THAT SOME PEOPLE STILL HAVE A BIT OF IMAGINATION.

“IN THE GAME OF LIFE, THE MAN WITH THE BIGGEST ENGINE WINS” – THIS LOT MUST BE ON THE PODIUM. I WANT ONE.

Those lancaster frames were recovered by me a few years ago- the farmer was about to scrap them along with several 6 ft square lanc wing skin sections. These items were from lancasters broken up at lossie after the war and were not from a local crash. The farmer upended the frames in order to form hay stacks in the late 40’s.

I offered these items on this site (see my post) when i was suddenly forced to move 500 miles south, but no one came to get them. So much talk, but no action.

The german bomber near rothes is quite hard to find, there is a long, thin scar in the hill and a few small pieces. The site was below a cairn on the summit ridge towards the trees, near a fence line. No map to hand i’m affraid, if youv’e been up there, it should make sence.
